How to get
to The Isle of Arran: You will
need to book your car well in advance with www.calmac.co.uk

650000. The main ferry terminal for Arran is Ardrossan,
North Ayrshire, and the main ferry terminal on Arran is Brodick.
You should arrive at the ferry terminal 30 minutes before the
ferry departure time.
If on foot,
train connections are good. From Glasgow Central, take the Ardrossan Harbour train (not Ardrossan
Town), it delivers you to the Calmac
Ferry Terminal in time to board the Ferry. You can plan your rail
journey using www.nationalrail.co.uk Fly/drive.
Fly to Glasgow or Prestwick Airports, hire a car and drive to Ardrossan, again you will need to book car and passengers
well in advance (see Calmac’s details above). |
